lit by matches flaring
into butterflies

    1. Hehehe, it just so happened today that i was lighting up a matchstick and the flare was, for a flash of second, something like..wings?! Hahaha, oh maybe because I did not have my specs on me. XD
Yes, I’m sure it will burn brightly after going out once. ^_^
Thanks, Staci! It’s amazing how both you and Reva from beingeternal are busy moving to a new place and yet take out some time for my little blog. Much love. ❤

  1. Beautiful thoughts! It carried an amazing effect subtly yet profoundly. Waning with the wax is a comma but not a period. It will be rekindled into a new wax to meet its Light once again. We were damp wicks but not any more. The flame is on and the wicks are dry and burning bright. Did you see? You are Light…………how can you see your own sheen…………we are witnessing. 🙂

  2. I love the image this creates; it seems we are not aware of the beauty within until it is sparked and thus, free to fly. I’ve no idea if this was your intended meaning, but that’s what I took from it. Perfectly constructed! Hope you’re having a great weekend! 🙂

    1. I love that thought, Georgette! I did indeed try to portray something along those lines, also how fading beauty is often the harbinger of rejuvenation, nothing ends incomplete, as you said – “we are not aware of the beauty within until it is sparked and thus, free to fly”
Thanks for the thoughtful comment, my friend. I always love you interpretations.
I am doing well. You too have a nice and poetic Sunday! 🙂
